Tequila Sunrise
Ingredients
- 60 ml tequila
- 120 ml orange juice
- 15 ml Simply Syrups Grenadine syrup
- Ice cubes
- Orange slice and maraschino cherry (for garnish)
Instructions
- Fill a highball or Collins glass with ice cubes.
- Pour the tequila and orange juice into the glass. Stir to combine.
- Slowly drizzle the Grenadine syrup down the inside of the glass over the back of a spoon or by pouring it gently over the ice. The syrup will sink to the bottom and create a beautiful sunrise effect.
- Garnish with an orange slice and a maraschino cherry on a cocktail pick.
- Give it a gentle stir before sipping to enjoy the flavours.
Notes
The Tequila Sunrise is not only visually stunning but also a delightful and fruity cocktail. The Grenadine syrup creates a gradient of colours in the glass, mimicking a sunrise, hence the name. You can adjust the Grenadine syrup quantity to suit your desired level of sweetness.
